Job Description

**Job Title** Product Data Manager **Role Summary** Act as the liaison between business stakeholders and technical delivery teams for a data‑centric product. Translate business needs into actionable product requirements, enforce data governance and compliance, and spearhead agile delivery processes for a 6‑month IR35 contract. **Expectations** - Serve as Product Owner for data/analytics initiatives. - Manage product backlog, prioritize features, and influence architecture decisions. - Deliver regular progress reports to senior stakeholders. - Operate within a regulated environment (insurance/financial services is a plus). **Key Responsibilities** 1. Bridge business and technical teams, converting requirements into clear, testable stories. 2. Ensure data quality, governance, and regulatory compliance are embedded in all deliverables. 3. Lead sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, reviews, and retrospectives in an agile framework. 4. Maintain and communicate the product roadmap, risks, and dependencies to executive stakeholders. 5. Collaborate with data architects and engineers on ETL pipelines, cloud platforms, and metadata management. **Required Skills** - Proven Product Owner experience, preferably in data or analytics domains. - Deep understanding of data platforms, ETL processes, and cloud services (Azure, AWS, or GCP). - Knowledge of data governance, metadata management, and regulatory reporting. - Strong stakeholder management, communication, and facilitation abilities. - Agile certification (CSPO, SAFe Product Owner, or equivalent) highly desirable. - Experience in London markets, insurance, or financial services is a significant advantage. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Information Systems, Finance, or related field. - Agile Product Owner certification (CSPO, Professional Scrum Product Owner, or equivalent). - Data governance or regulatory compliance certifications are advantageous.
