Assistant Manager, Social Media
**Role Summary**
Oversee and grow UNIQLO Canada’s organic social media presence. Lead content creation, manage social calendars, and develop platform‑specific strategies to support business objectives and brand storytelling for Gen Z and Gen Alpha audiences.
**Expectations**
- Deliver high‑quality, culturally relevant content across all UNIQLOCANADA channels.
- Maintain rigorous organization and attention to detail in scheduling, asset management, and reporting.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally to align product launches, brand announcements, and corporate initiatives.
- Respond proactively to community engagement and influencer collaboration opportunities.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Manage content calendars, scheduling, and publishing with external agency partners.
- Partner with product, marketing, PR, and influencer teams to integrate priorities into social content.
- Lead end‑to‑end production of stories, studio shoots, and event content (ideation, casting, logistics, set design).
- Craft social‑first strategies tailored to each platform, ensuring alignment with brand objectives.
- Organize and maintain social media assets and imagery.
- Support influencer programs: develop target lists, coordinate collaborations, and track performance.
- Monitor community engagement, respond to comments and messages, and identify partnership prospects.
- Compile and analyze performance data; use insights to optimize content and growth.
- Stay updated on cultural events, industry news, and digital trends to inform real‑time strategy.
- Undertake additional projects as assigned.
**Required Skills**
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Brand Communications, or related field.
- 4+ years of social media marketing experience, preferably in fashion, retail, or lifestyle brands (agency or in‑house).
- Strong content creation across multiple platforms; comfortable on‑camera.
- Advanced proficiency in photo/video editing tools (Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, Canva).
- Deep understanding of global digital and social media landscape within fashion/lifestyle space.
- Proficiency with social media management and analytics platforms.
- Proven project management from ideation to execution with a sense of urgency.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and proactive, adaptable mindset.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- French language proficiency considered an asset.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Brand Communications, or related discipline.
- No mandatory certifications, but familiarity with social media tools and analytics is required.
