Job Description
**Job Title:** C# Developer – Electronic Trading **Role Summary:** Design, develop, and enhance high‑performance C#/.NET applications for front‑office electronic trading, pricing, risk, and reporting. Collaborate closely with traders, quants, and sales in an Agile, trading‑floor environment to deliver scalable, low‑latency solutions across US Rates, FX Flow, and Fixed Income domains. **Expectations:** - Deliver clean, maintainable code meeting performance and reliability standards. - Participate actively in Agile ceremonies and CI/CD pipelines. - Communicate effectively with non‑technical stakeholders to translate trading requirements into technical solutions. - Adapt quickly to evolving business priorities and market conditions. **Key Responsibilities:** - Build and maintain C#/.NET components for pricing, risk assessment, connectivity, and reporting. - Optimize existing electronic trading workflows for speed and usability. - Support real‑time trading operations, troubleshooting issues alongside front‑office users. - Contribute to modernization initiatives, including migration of legacy systems to newer platforms. - Write unit and integration tests; ensure code quality through peer reviews. - Document technical designs and system architecture. **Required Skills:** - Strong C#/.NET development experience (framework 4.5+); solid OOP principles. - Understanding of electronic trading systems and market workflows. - Domain knowledge in at least one area: US Treasuries & Interest Rate Swaps, FX Flow trading, or Fixed Income pricing/risk. - Proficiency with SQL and version control (Git). - Experience in Agile development, CI/CD pipelines. - Additional: Python scripting; front‑end frameworks (React or Angular) – preferred. - Excellent problem‑solving, proactive attitude, and ability to thrive in fast‑paced trading environments. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience). - Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate, Scrum Master) are a plus but not mandatory.
