**Job Title:** AI & Automation Platform Architect / Engineer
**Role Summary:**
Design, build, and evolve an internal developer platform that delivers standardized CI/CD pipelines, automation frameworks, and AI‑enabled services. Ensure platform reliability, scalability, security, and cost‑efficiency through IaC, observability, and governance while collaborating with cross‑functional teams to embed enterprise AI capabilities into production workflows.
**Expectations:**
- Deliver reusable, production‑ready platform components and golden‑path templates.
- Enforce security, compliance, and operational guardrails across all automated processes.
- Maintain high availability, performance, and cost control of AI‑driven services.
- Partner with development, security, and operations teams to align platform standards with business goals.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Architect and enhance the internal developer platform, including CI/CD, service templates, and policy enforcement.
- Create automation and orchestration frameworks with robust logging, monitoring, and failure‑handling.
- Standardize Infrastructure‑as‑Code (IaC) and scripting using PowerShell, Python, and related tools.
- Implement platform guardrails for security, compliance, and governance.
- Integrate enterprise AI services (Copilots, LLM APIs, internal AI APIs) into delivery pipelines.
- Define and manage API contracts, routing, execution, monitoring, and governance for AI workflows.
- Ensure production readiness, observability, cost management, and reliability of AI‑enabled systems.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define scalable system architectures and automation standards.
- Support Microsoft 365, Entra ID/Active Directory (hybrid), Microsoft Identity Manager, and Teams Direct Routing/SBC configurations.
- Work with ITSM platforms (e.g., ServiceNow) to streamline incident and change management.
**Required Skills:**
- Expertise in CI/CD platforms and automation orchestration (e.g., Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions).
- Cloud‑native architecture and service‑oriented design (Azure preferred).
- Strong experience with enterprise AI integration and LLM‑based services.
- Advanced PowerShell scripting; proficient in Python for automation.
- Infrastructure‑as‑Code (Terraform, ARM, Bicep) and IaC governance.
- Security and compliance implementation (policy as code, guardrails).
- Microsoft 365 administration, Entra ID/Active Directory, Microsoft Identity Manager.
- Teams Direct Routing, SBC configuration, and related telephony integration.
- ITSM tool experience, preferably ServiceNow.
- Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and cross‑team collaboration skills.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals) preferred.
- Demonstrated experience with AI/ML platform integration and automation engineering.
