Job Description

Job title: AI Engineer Intern Role Summary: Participate in a 12‑week summer internship focused on developing generative AI tools that enhance software development workflows within a digital consumer technology context. Build and prototype solutions using LLM and RAG frameworks, automate release and CI/CD processes, and support quality improvements across the engineering pipeline. Expectations: - Full‑time commitment for 12 weeks during Summer 2025 through September 2026. - Current enrollment or recent completion of a bachelor’s or graduate degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related discipline. - Proactive learning attitude and ability to collaborate with cross‑functional teams. Key Responsibilities: - Partner with Engineering, Product, and QA teams to identify opportunities for AI‑driven automation in software delivery. - Design, prototype, and deploy tools using GenAI frameworks (e.g., LangChain, RAG) for code review assistance, documentation generation, and test automation. - Implement CI/CD automation and release tooling with GitHub Actions and other relevant services. - Develop prototypes using Python, JavaScript, and AWS services, integrating results into existing developer workflows. - Document code, experiments, and best practices; present findings to engineering managers and stakeholders. Required Skills: - Strong foundation in software development fundamentals. - Working proficiency in Python and/or JavaScript. - Familiarity with LLM or other generative AI tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, LangChain). - Understanding of CI/CD principles and test automation concepts. - Experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS, including basic deployment and integration. - Excellent communication, documentation, and collaborative problem‑solving abilities. Required Education & Certifications: - Pursuing or recently completed a bachelor’s or graduate degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a closely related field. - No specific certifications required.
