Job Description
**Job Title:** Data Scientist **Role Summary:** Lead end‑to‑end data science initiatives across multiple business domains, transforming large datasets into actionable insights, predictive models, and scalable solutions that drive strategic decisions and product enhancements. Collaborate closely with stakeholders, product teams, and engineers to ensure that models deliver measurable business value and are seamlessly integrated into operational systems. **Expectations:** • Successfully deliver end‑to‑end data science projects (concept, data engineering, modeling, validation, deployment). • Effectively communicate findings and recommendations to technical and non‑technical audiences. • Continuously improve model performance, scalability, and maintainability. • Stay current with emerging data science techniques and advocate for their adoption. **Key Responsibilities:** - Collect, clean, and pre‑process data from diverse sources using Python and SQL. - Engineer features and design experiment frameworks to support model development. - Build and validate machine‑learning models (regression, classification, clustering, time series, NLP, deep learning) tailored to business objectives. - Deploy models into production environments and monitor performance, retraining as necessary. - Create clear, compelling visualizations and reports to convey insights. - Partner with product, engineering, and business stakeholders to define requirements and align solutions. - Conduct code reviews, pair programming, and knowledge‑sharing sessions to uphold best practices. - Document data pipelines, modeling decisions, and performance metrics for reproducibility. **Required Skills:** - Proficiency in Python (pandas, numpy, scikit‑learn, TensorFlow/PyTorch, Jupyter) and SQL. - Strong background in statistics, probability, and machine‑learning algorithms. - Experience with ML lifecycle tools (MLflow, Airflow, Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus. - Ability to translate business problems into analytical solutions. - Excellent written and verbal communication; confident explaining complex concepts to non‑technical audiences. - Demonstrated track record of delivering data‑driven projects. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related quantitative field; Master’s degree preferred. - Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Machine Learning, Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Scientist Associate) are advantageous.
