**Job title**
Community Manager
**Role Summary**
Own the inbound customer and community experience across e.l.f. SKIN’s social channels (primarily Instagram and TikTok, with additional support on YouTube, Pinterest, Twitch, etc.). Rapidly respond to fan queries, proactively engage to amplify brand loyalty, and collect trend insights to inform the broader community strategy.
**Expectations**
* Deliver swift, accurate responses to social inbound traffic.
* Act as a brand ambassador, fostering positive brand sentiment online.
* Scaffold and iterate community macros for high‑volume scenarios.
* Communicate resolved issues and trend findings to cross‑functional teams.
* Maintain a real‑time, data‑driven approach to community engagement.
**Key Responsibilities**
1. Monitor and respond to all inbound messages, comments, and creator content across Instagram, TikTok, and other relevant platforms.
2. Conduct proactive outreach (likes, comments, direct interactions) to build community love and brand awareness.
3. Escalate complex consumer inquiries to appropriate channel leads or customer service.
4. Design and maintain macro responses for common queries, updating them based on inbound volume and trend analysis.
5. Collaborate with Customer Service on order‑related queries, promotions, and post‑purchase follow‑ups.
6. Identify emerging content trends, platform features, and competitor activities to inform content strategy.
7. Compile weekly and monthly community metrics (reach, engagement, sentiment) for cross‑functional reporting.
8. Provide real‑time updates on trending conversations, complaints, and opportunities across e.l.f.’s channels and key competitors.
**Required Skills**
* Proven experience managing consumer communication on Instagram and TikTok; familiarity with YouTube, Pinterest, Twitch, LinkedIn, and emerging platforms.
* Strong written communication: copywriting, editing, proofreading.
* Excellent multitasking, time‑management, and prioritization under high‑volume conditions.
* Cultural awareness and curiosity about beauty industry trends and peer brand activities.
* Rapid real‑time response capability and a “rapid‑response” mindset.
* Passion for skincare and beauty products.
* Proficiency with social media management and analytics tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Dash Hudson, CreatorIQ).
* Ability to analyze and communicate insights to stakeholders.
**Required Education & Certifications**
* Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, or related field preferred (equivalent professional experience acceptable).
* Social media or digital marketing certification (e.g., Hootsuite, SproutSocial, HubSpot Social, etc.) is a plus.
