Job Description
Job title: Java Software Engineer Role Summary: Collaborate in a small Agile team to design, build, deploy, and maintain modules of a SaaS travel platform. Involved in all stages from specification to production, including integration of JEE components and ensuring high quality delivery. Expectations: * Minimum 3 years of Java development experience. * Graduated from a recognized engineering school or holding a Master’s in Computer Science (BAC+5). * Strong analytical skills, proactive spirit, and ability to propose innovative solutions. * Proficient in technical English, both written and oral. Key Responsibilities: 1. Design, develop, and deploy platform modules using Java (7‑11/17). 2. Integrate components into JEE applications (Struts2, Spring, Spring Boot). 3. Implement client‑side features with JavaScript and ReactJS. 4. Create and consume RESTful and SOAP web services. 5. Manage persistence with SQL (Oracle) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Redis). 6. Configure containers (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift) and application servers (JBoss/Wildfly). 7. Participate in code reviews, testing, and production support. 8. Collaborate with project, quality, and operations teams. 9. Propose functional and technical improvements to enhance the platform.
