**Job Title** Director, Security **Role Summary** Lead the enterprise security transformation for a globally distributed networking organization, building a world‑class Security Operations function. Own the full security lifecycle, from compliance certification to incident response, and embed security across product development teams. **Expectations** - Deliver end‑to‑end security strategy and governance for the company. - Establish security as a competitive differentiator in sales and partnerships. - Manage a global, distributed security team and collaborate closely with executive leadership. **Key Responsibilities** - Build and lead Security Operations Center (SOC) with 24/7 coverage. - Own and manage compliance programs (SOC 2, NIS 2, GovRAMP, StateRAMP, PCI‑DSS, ISO 27001). - Implement vulnerability management for nine core products with defined SLAs. - Drive annual penetration testing and security‑by‑design initiatives. - Embed security engineers within product development squads. - Establish threat intelligence, proactive monitoring, and incident response workflows. - Serve as liaison for enterprise audit relationships and certification processes. - Enable Fortune 500 partnership requirements through robust security posture. **Required Skills** - 15+ years in information security, 7+ years leading security teams. - Deep expertise in multi‑framework compliance (SOC 2, NIS 2, GovRAMP, PCI‑DSS, ISO 27001). - Cloud security (GCP/AWS) with Kubernetes and container security experience. - Linux system hardening and automation (scripting, IaC). - Enterprise networking security architecture knowledge. - SaaS product security, secure SDLC, and DevSecOps practices. - Global distributed team leadership. - Effective executive communication and stakeholder management. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (advanced degree preferred). - Relevant certifications: CISSP, CISA, CISM (strongly preferred). ---
