**Job title:** Assistant Manager – Global Service Operations
**Role Summary:**
Lead day‑to‑day service support for a diverse portfolio of network, SDWAN, cloud, security, collaboration, mobility, and IoT solutions. Resolve complex technical issues, manage incident life cycle, and serve as the escalation hub between customer service analysts and engineering/architecture teams.
**Expectations:**
- Deliver robust, timely resolution of high‑severity incidents and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Execute standard operating procedures, continuously improve documentation, and maintain accurate inventory of operational procedures.
- Provide actionable insights to senior leadership through concise monthly executive summaries.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Diagnose, analyse, and resolve troubleshooting calls for infrastructure and SaaS services.
- Validate incidents, recommend solutions, and track resolution status.
- Serve as Level‑1 escalation point and coordinate with engineering, architecture, and IT teams on complex issues.
- Draft, review, and maintain SOPs, working instructions, and performance metrics.
- Compile and publish weekly and monthly reports on service operations activity.
- Advise on tuning, optimization, and process improvements of systems and policies.
- Monitor and update an inventory of operational procedures and tools.
**Required Skills:**
- Expertise in installation, integration, and troubleshooting of network, SDWAN, cloud, security, collaboration, and IoT platforms.
- Strong analytical and incident‑management skills with a focus on root‑cause analysis.
- Proficiency in data backup, restoration, and retention procedures.
- Ability to translate technical information into clear executive summaries.
- Knowledge of current industry technologies and best practices.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Certifications such as CCNA/CCNP, ITIL Foundation, or equivalent preferred.
