**Job Title:** Business Analyst (eCommerce IT) **Role Summary:** Support a global travel client’s transformation from B2B to B2C eCommerce, acting as the bridge between business stakeholders and IT/development teams. Capture and translate global requirements, map customer experience journeys, and identify process improvements to ensure seamless delivery of the new B2C platform. **Expectations:** - Proven eCommerce experience within Retail, Travel or Airline sectors. - Right to work in the UK. - Strong IT awareness, able to translate business needs into technical requirements. - Ability to manage stakeholder expectations across multiple regions and cultures. - Proactive in identifying and promoting process efficiencies. - Comfortable working in a fast‑moving, globally dispersed environment with a focus on transformation. **Key Responsibilities:** 1. Gather and analyse requirements from global stakeholders. 2. Create concise functional specifications, user stories, and business cases. 3. Map end‑to‑end customer journey and experience for the B2C platform. 4. Coordinate with IT developers and third‑party vendors, ensuring alignment with business objectives. 5. Facilitate workshops and meetings across time zones. 6. Identify, document and prioritise process improvement opportunities. 7. Support solution testing, UAT planning, and acceptance criteria definition. 8. Maintain up‑to‑date documentation and change logs throughout the project lifecycle. **Required Skills:** - Business analysis (requirements gathering, process mapping, use‑case development). - eCommerce domain knowledge (Retail/Travel/airline). - Stakeholder and cross‑cultural communication. - Project coordination and facilitation. - Agile/Scrum familiarity (user story creation, backlog grooming). - Problem‑solving, analytical thinking, and attention to detail. - Strong written and verbal communication. - Ability to work independently within a global team. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Commerce, Computer Science or a related field. - Professional certifications such as CBAP, CCBA, PMI‑PBA, or equivalent are preferred. - Knowledge of eCommerce platforms (e.g., SAP Commerce, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Magento, Shopify) is desirable but not mandatory.
