**Job Title:** AI Engineer – Robotics
**Role Summary:**
Lead the architecture and development of end‑to‑end data and machine learning pipelines for sensor, video, and telemetry data that power real‑time robotics and vision systems. Design scalable, reliable data infrastructure, integrate edge intelligence, and set best practices for ML engineering, deployment, and observability. Mentor and guide engineering teams while aligning technical solutions with product objectives.

- Mentor a cross‑functional team of data engineers, ML engineers, and cloud architects.
- Deliver robust, scalable data and ML systems that support complex, real‑time environments.
- Ensure alignment between architecture and product goals through cross‑functional collaboration.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Architect and develop end‑to‑end data and ML pipelines for sensor, video, and telemetry data.
- Design scalable, reliable data infrastructure (schema design, lineage, validation, anomaly detection).
- Integrate edge intelligence, observability, and feedback loops into robotic perception systems.
- Define technical direction and best practices for ML engineering, infrastructure, and deployment.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to align architecture with real‑world use cases.
- Mentor engineering teams on data engineering, AI/ML, and cloud architecture best practices.
**Required Skills:**
- 10+ years of experience in data infrastructure, ML systems, or AI engineering at scale.
- Proficiency in Python, Scala, or Java; experience with Spark, Flink, and Airflow.
- Strong hands‑on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Proven ability to design and scale data and ML systems for real‑time environments.
- Deep understanding of feature stores, model deployment, and AI observability.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (advanced degree preferred).
- Relevant certifications in cloud platforms (AWS Certified Solutions Architect, GCP Professional Data Engineer, etc.) are a plus.
