Job Description
Job title: Electrical & Electronics Cabin Repair Method Engineer Role Summary Electrical & Electronics Cabin Repair Method Engineer supports aircraft cabin component repair on final‑assembly lines, collaborating with airlines, on‑site teams, and engineering offices. The role analyses repair requests, defines technical solutions, documents procedures, guides field crews, validates repairs in‑situ, and drives continuous improvement while ensuring compliance with aviation standards. Expectations - Deliver fast, high‑quality repair solutions for cabin assemblies (paneling, doors, lavatories, crew rest, etc.). - Maintain strict adherence to aviation regulations (EN, FAA, ISO). - Communicate clearly in technical English; German knowledge is a plus. - Work on‑site with aircraft maintenance activities. Key Responsibilities - Analyze repair scopes, assess defect severity, and propose optimal technical responses. - Draft repair processes: drawings, material selections, tooling, and compliance requirements. - Provide precise instructions to field technicians and oversee execution in workshops. - Inspect damaged parts on the final‑assembly line, validate repair approaches on the ground. - Coordinate with design centers (Germany, Hungary) and suppliers to resolve complex design/repair challenges. - Participate in continuous improvement projects and support quality & methods functions. Required Skills - Strong technical reading of electrical/electronic schematics and mechanical assembly plans. - Proficiency with MS Office, SAP, CATIA; experience in creating repair documentation. - Solid understanding of aviation and ISO standards, CMM procedures. - Problem‑solving mindset, meticulousness, teamwork orientation, proactive attitude. - Technical English (oral & written) at advanced level; German language a plus. Required Education & Certifications - Engineering degree or equivalent qualifying experience in Electrical/Electronics Engineering. - Demonstrated experience in aircraft cabin or related electrical systems maintenance.
