Job Title: Software Business Analyst
Role Summary:
Leads analysis, documentation, and communication of business and technical requirements to support IT, product strategy, and delivery. Drives functional and technical analysis, agile facilitation, project planning, and continuous improvement using automation, workflow, and AI tools.
Expactations:
- Deliver high‑quality requirement artifacts and traceability matrices for large‑scope, cloud/Web, and SaaS projects.
- Ensure alignment with Agile cadences, risk and issue management, and stakeholder expectations.
- Act as primary escalation point for project issues and customer meetings.
- Promote continuous integration practices and process improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gather, analyse, and translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Define system flows, interfaces, and integration points, including Big Data & API connectivity.
- Facilitate design, requirements, and resourcing workshops; engage vendors as needed.
- Estimate effort, skillsets, and timelines; manage JIRA tickets and documentation standards.
- Collaborate with Product and development teams to remove roadblocks and maintain Agile cadence.
- Identify and communicate risks, deliver status reporting, and ensure project transparency.
- Recommend improvements to teams and enforce requirement‑documentation standards.
- Participate in customer meetings and act as primary escalation liaison.
Required Skills:
- 5+ years of business analysis in large‑scale technical projects (cloud/Web, SaaS).
- Strong Agile experience (scrum/collaboration with dev teams).
- Experience with JIRA, MS Project, and advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Familiarity with LLM tools (Copilot, Gemini, Claude) and MS Project is a plus.
- Big‑picture thinking, risk identification, and problem‑solving.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills with customer‑service orientation.
- Self‑motivated, organized, adaptable, and detail‑focused.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in dynamic environments.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent.
- Scrum Master certification or training strongly preferred.
