Job Description
**Job Title:** People Business Partner – R&D **Role Summary:** Strategic HR Business Partner for Engineering, Product, Data, and Information Security. Aligns people strategy with R&D roadmap, drives organisational design, talent density, performance excellence, and change initiatives to support product, technology, and security objectives. **Expectations:** - Build trusted relationships with senior technical leaders (CTO, CPO, CISO). - Deliver proactive, commercially grounded people advice. - Navigate global employment law and mitigate compliance risk. - Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion in high‑performance tech teams. **Key Responsibilities:** - Partner with R&D leadership to design structures, workforce plans, and people initiatives matching technical strategy. - Lead performance management processes (calibration, annual reviews) and embed continuous feedback. - Coach technical leaders on performance, talent development, organisational design, and rewards. - Analyse engagement, pulse surveys, and people analytics to identify trends, risks, and opportunities. - Drive complex change programs (restructuring, capability transformation, cultural evolution). - Ensure compliance with global employment legislation and internal policies across jurisdictions. - Collaborate with Talent Acquisition to attract and hire high‑calibre technical talent. **Required Skills:** - Proven People Partner experience in R&D or technical functions within high‑growth environments. - Expertise in organisational change, performance management, and leadership coaching. - Strong analytical, data‑driven mindset; aptitude for translating insights into action. - Ability to build influence, challenge constructively, and maintain credibility with senior leaders. - Experience operating in matrixed, global organisations and managing competing stakeholder priorities. - Commitment to DEI and inclusive culture. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree (preferred) in HR, Business Administration, or related field. - CIPD qualification (or equivalent) desirable. ---
