Job Description
**Job Title:** Project Engineer **Role Summary:** Supports project lifecycle from bid through hand‑over, ensuring engineering design, construction, and contractual activities meet quality, schedule, and budget objectives. Acts as primary technical liaison between project team, contractors, and suppliers under the guidance of a Project Manager. **Expectations:** - Execute engineering tasks per established guidelines while aligning with project goals. - Deliver accurate, secure, and compliant documentation. - Back‑up Project Manager responsibilities when required. - Maintain high levels of organization and communication within cross‑functional teams. **Key Responsibilities:** - Prepare and evaluate Invitations to Tender (ITT) and assist in contractor selection. - Identify, source long‑lead equipment, and coordinate with Front End Engineering Design (FEED) contractors. - Develop and manage the Functional Interaction Plan. - Resolve project issues, facilitate change requests, and endorse change authorizations. - Verify design and construction adherence to specifications and standards. - Interface with contractors and ensure smooth transition between project stages. - Lead the Project Management Team in applying project management systems and processes. **Required Skills:** - Strong leadership, influencing, and interpersonal abilities. - Excellent organizational, coordination, planning, and interface skills. - Adaptability to tight deadlines, heavy workloads, and shifting priorities. - Proficient in MS Office Suite. - Fluent written and verbal communication in English. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline. - Proven experience in engineering design, construction, and project management/control activities across multiple projects. ---
