Job Title: Production Test Engineer Role Summary: Perform end‑to‑end testing of complex electrical/electronic systems, sub‑assemblies, and circuit cards at component level. Support shopfloor operators, develop test specifications, generate operator instructions, and produce technical reports. Identify and recommend remedial and corrective actions and provide status updates to Quality and Operations. Expectations: - Deliver accurate, repeatable test results in a fast‑paced production environment. - Communicate findings clearly to cross‑functional teams. - Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of measurement, test, RF/microwave, and environmental testing standards. Key Responsibilities: - Provide on‑site test engineering support to operators. - Test and diagnose complex electrical/electronic systems, sub‑assemblies, and circuit cards down to component level. - Generate test specifications, operator instructions, and technical reports based on higher‑level requirements. - Identify remedial and corrective actions to improve product quality. - Participate in Quality and Operations meetings, presenting status updates on test engineering actions and investigations. Required Skills: - Strong understanding of measurement and test principles and associated equipment at component level. - Knowledge of electrical/electronic subsystem and system design, integration, and test principles. - Familiarity with RF and microwave technology at subsystem level. - Understanding of Environmental testing (including electrical safety subsystems). - Manual handling and ESD compliance training.
