Job Description
Job title: Apprentice IT Implementation Analyst Role Summary: A 27‑month apprenticeship aimed at developing skills to support end‑to‑end IT system deployments. The role combines central support office work with travel to business sites in a hybrid setting, focusing on User Acceptance Testing (UAT), training & adoption, and digital transformation projects. Expectations: - Complete the Level 4 Applications Support Lead apprenticeship standard. - Acquire hands‑on experience with core technology applications, UAT planning, test execution, defect logging, and digital adoption tools. - Develop learner‑friendly training materials, design visual learning journeys, and enhance user‑first support resources. - Build collaborative relationships across the organisation and contribute to multiple digital projects. Key Responsibilities: - Provide tactical advice, training, and support on core technology applications. - Write test scripts, acceptance criteria, execute test cases, and log defects for UAT. - Design, deliver, and refine training content; translate complex processes into simple learning journeys. - Problem‑solve during testing, training, go‑live support, and post‑deployment phases. - Utilize learning & digital adoption tools (e.g., Articulate 360, Camtasia, Vyond). - Support digital transformation projects and adapt to fast‑paced operational demands. - Manage multiple tasks and deadlines while maintaining clear communication with stakeholders. Required Skills: - Excellent written and verbal communication. - Strong analytical, detail‑oriented mindset. - Initiative, creativity, and enthusiasm for continuous learning. - Ability to teach and engage others; build relationships with internal and external customers. - Self‑motivated, responsible, and adaptable to changing priorities. - Comfortable working both independently and in teams. Required Education & Certifications: - Minimum 5 GCSEs (Grade 4/5) including Maths and English. - A Level, BTEC Level 3 (IT advantage) or prior Level 3 IT apprenticeship. - Completion of Level 4 Applications Support Lead apprenticeship standard (industry‑recognised). - Valid UK driving licence is a plus due to travel requirements.
