**Job Title:** Senior Windows & VMware Infrastructure Lead
**Role Summary**
Lead enterprise Windows Server and VMware environments, focusing on system availability, security, and disaster recovery. Oversee infrastructure operations, cross-team collaboration, and automation initiatives.
**Expectations**
Deliver strategic leadership for platform stability, optimize infrastructure performance, and ensure alignment with security and compliance standards.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Own Windows Server and VMware vSphere/vCenter platform operations.
- Design, test, and maintain disaster recovery (DR) strategies (e.g., VMware SRM).
- Coordinate with network, storage, security, and architecture teams.
- Oversee server patching (SCCM), capacity planning, and performance optimization.
- Manage hardware lifecycle, vendor relationships, and incident escalation.
- Ensure audit compliance, asset tracking, and operational governance.
- Mentor offshore teams and implement automation and standardization practices.
**Required Skills**
- Windows Server (2012–2022): Active Directory, DNS, Group Policy, IIS.
- VMware vSphere/vCenter: HA, DRS, vMotion, clustering, vSAN.
- SCCM patching, backup/recovery, and DR implementation.
- Data center operations and ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow).
- Enterprise hardware (Dell, HPE, Cisco UCS) management.
- Stakeholder communication, change management, and multi-team coordination.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
- Certifications: VMware Certified Professional (VCP), Microsoft Server certifications (e.g., MCSE) preferred.
