**Job Title:** Systems Testing/QA Specialist – Senior
**Role Summary:**
Senior QA specialist responsible for designing, planning, and executing comprehensive testing across GUI and non‑GUI systems. Leads test strategy, develops automated scripts, integrates tests into CI/CD pipelines, and collaborates with development, business, and project teams to ensure high‑quality, compliant deliverables.
**Expectations:**
- Deliver end‑to‑end testing for large, complex systems.
- Lead testing activities, including planning, execution, defect management, and reporting.
- Ensure testing meets industry standards, regulatory requirements (e.g., AODA), and client expectations.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Define testing strategy, create test plans, test cases, and test data.
- Plan and conduct functional, integration, system, regression, performance, stress, load, and user acceptance tests.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts (UFT, Selenium, TestComplete, Postman, JMeter, LoadRunner).
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
- Track and document defects using ALM, JIRA, Bugzilla, Azure DevOps, TestRail, or Zephyr.
- Reproduce and resolve issues in collaboration with developers.
- Conduct basic security and data integrity testing.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, stand‑ups, retrospectives).
- Maintain detailed test documentation and quality metrics.
- Provide input for user manuals and release notes.
**Required Skills:**
- 5+ years in systems testing and QA with deep knowledge of SDLC.
- Expertise in test planning, design, execution, and defect management.
- Proficient in automated testing tools (UFT, Selenium, TestComplete, Postman, JMeter, LoadRunner).
- Experience with CI/CD integration and version control.
- Strong knowledge of ALM, JIRA, Bugzilla, Azure DevOps, TestRail, Zephyr.
- Familiarity with scripting (Python, JavaScript, Bash) for automation and data setup.
- Ability to write and execute clear test cases and data queries.
- Knowledge of Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, and quality assurance best practices.
- Understanding of AODA, regulatory compliance, and accessibility testing.
- Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, communication, and team‑collaboration skills.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (preferred).
- Certifications: ISTQB Certified Tester (Senior Level), or equivalent in test automation or quality assurance.
