Regional Channel Manager – Reverse Mortgages
**Role Summary**
Lead the development, execution, and optimization of Equitable Bank’s reverse‑mortgage distribution strategy in British Columbia. Build and nurture a network of referral partners (mortgage brokers, financial advisors, credit unions), deliver training and support, and drive pipeline growth to meet annually‑set sales targets.

- Establish a reliable, repeatable pipeline of applications across the region.
- Maintain high‑quality relationships with internal teams and external partners.
- Provide accurate sales reporting, performance analysis, and actionable insights.
- Represent the brand in field visits, industry events, and client meetings.
**Key Responsibilities**
*Relationship Management (≈40%)*
- Create and execute a regional business plan that maximizes product distribution.
- Onboard, train, and enable new referral partners; supply them with marketing and product collateral.
- Act as primary point of contact for existing partners, addressing inquiries and escalation issues.
- Collaborate with Senior Management on quota setting and sales objectives.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret sales data to identify trends and opportunities.
*Sales Activities & Achievement (≈40%)*
- Conduct proactive outbound calls and face‑to‑face visits to generate new business and deepen existing relationships.
- Provide consultative support to brokers/advisors, including product training, marketing guidance, and business‑strategy advice.
- Partner with SFR Sales Teams and Credit Managers to monitor pipeline health, resolve credit escalations, and maximize production.
- Deliver regular performance reports and mid‑term analyses to leadership.
*Operational Support (≈20%)*
- Assist Regional Business Managers and Inside Sales teams with key account support and service training.
- Coordinate promotional activities, distribution of new materials, and prize‑item programs to enhance partner engagement.
**Required Skills**
- Proven sales‑leadership experience in mortgage, reverse‑mortgage, or broader financial‑services channels.
- Strong relationship‑building and partner‑management capabilities.
- In‑depth knowledge of reverse‑mortgage products and the Canadian retirement‑financing market.
- Analytical proficiency – ability to interpret sales data, forecast trends, and present insights.
- Excellent verbal and written communication; comfortable presenting to senior stakeholders.
- Self‑directed, highly organized, and able to travel regularly within the region.
- Proficiency with CRM systems, Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint), and sales‑performance tools.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Relevant industry certifications (e.g., Canadian Mortgage Broker licence, CFP, or similar) preferred but not mandatory.
