Job Title: Project Manager
Role Summary: Lead and manage multiple complex IT projects across university-wide technology domains, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and meeting quality standards while coordinating cross‑functional teams and stakeholders.
Expactations: Deliver project outcomes that align with strategic goals, maintain high stakeholder satisfaction, manage risks, issues, and changes, and continuously improve project processes using best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan, schedule, track, and budget multiple large technical projects (vendor selection, SaaS, IT infrastructure, application upgrades).
• Lead multidisciplinary teams, facilitate collaboration, and drive consensus.
• Manage project scope, schedule, cost, quality, resources, communications, risk, and procurement.
• Communicate effectively with sponsors, decision‑makers, and all project audiences.
• Conduct risk assessments, issue resolution, and change management.
• Produce and maintain detailed project plans, WBS, status reports, and dashboards.
• Ensure adherence to Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid methodologies as appropriate.
• Support continuous improvement of project management practices within the PMO.
Required Skills:
• Project management expertise (planning, scheduling, budgeting, risk, scope, quality).
• Strong written and oral communication.
• Leadership, negotiation, persuasion, facilitation, and conflict resolution.
• Ability to build and motivate cross‑functional teams.
• Analytical thinking, attention to detail, and decision‑making under stress.
• Proficiency in MS Office, Smartsheet, ServiceNow PPM, Zoom, Slack; knowledge of Oracle E‑Business Suite, Oracle HCM, PeopleSoft.
• Understanding of SDLC, QA/testing, data integration, web application architecture, and system integration.
Required Education & Certifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 8–10 years of project management experience with large, complex projects.
• PMP certification strongly desired.
