Job Description
**Job Title:** Sr. Systems Engineer (Senior Cloud Engineer – Azure Focus) **Role Summary:** Design, implement, and maintain secure, scalable Azure and hybrid cloud infrastructure. Lead Azure networking, identity, and governance solutions, drive automation, support migrations, and collaborate with security, application, and operations teams to ensure reliability and cost‑effectiveness. **Expectations:** - Minimum 5 years in infrastructure, networking, or cloud engineering. - At least 3 years hands‑on experience with Microsoft Azure design and support. - Ability to own complex problems, prioritize multiple tasks, and communicate with technical and non‑technical stakeholders. **Key Responsibilities:** - Architect, deploy, and manage Azure virtual networks, VMs, storage, firewalls, and VPN gateways. - Implement hybrid identity using Azure AD Connect and Entra ID. - Provision and optimize Azure IaaS/PaaS resources for security, availability, and cost. - Monitor and troubleshoot environments via Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and native tools. - Enhance CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions. - Lead cloud migration and modernization from on‑premises to Azure. - Design and support enterprise networking with Cisco Meraki across sites. - Partner with security, application, and operations teams to deliver end‑to‑end solutions. **Required Skills:** - Azure networking, identity, governance, and security expertise. - Windows Server administration (AD, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy). - Scripting/automation with PowerShell, Azure CLI, or comparable tools. - Familiarity with Microsoft 365 services and security solutions (Defender, Sentinel, Conditional Access). - Strong problem‑solving, independent work, and multitasking abilities. - Effective verbal and written communication. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience). - Preferred Azure certifications: Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or Azure Security Engineer Associate.
