Job Description
Job Title: Senior IAM Cloud Engineer Role Summary: Design, implement, and manage secure identity and access solutions in hybrid and multi‑cloud environments. Lead the modernization of enterprise IAM capabilities, ensuring compliance, zero trust, and seamless user experience across internal and external systems. Expectations: Deliver scalable IAM architectures that support business enablement and governance. Drive zero trust enforcement, conditional access, and CIEM integration while collaborating across security, infrastructure, and DevSecOps teams. Key Responsibilities: • Design and maintain IAM capabilities (SSO, MFA, RBAC) in Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD). • Implement and fine‑tune Conditional Access policies for Zero Trust. • Lead provisioning, deprovisioning, entitlements, and access review automation. • Support cloud‑based identity federation and hybrid integration. • Identify, remediate IAM risks, audit gaps, and compliance issues. • Collaborate with infrastructure and DevSecOps to define identity requirements for new systems. • Automate IAM workflows using PowerShell, Python, or Bash scripts. • Evaluate and integrate CIEM tools. • Conduct audits and access monitoring for HIPAA, SOX, GDPR, and internal standards. • Maintain documentation and contribute best practices for cloud IAM architecture. Required Skills: • 8–10 years of IAM engineering experience with cloud focus. • Expert knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID, Conditional Access, MFA, and identity federation. • Deep understanding of SAML, OAuth2, LDAP, and modern authentication protocols. • Experience designing RBAC, access reviews, entitlement models, and policy‑based controls. • Practical knowledge of security and compliance in regulated industries. • Proficiency in scripting (PowerShell, Python, or Bash) for IAM automation. • Strong collaboration and communication skills; ability to explain IAM concepts to non‑technical stakeholders. Required Education & Certifications: • Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate (preferred). • Certified Identity and Access Manager (CIAM) (preferred). • CISSP or equivalent IAM/cloud security certification (preferred).
