Job Description
**Job title** Quality Management Engineer – Rail **Role Summary** Responsible for establishing, maintaining and auditing quality processes for rail infrastructure projects. Develops quality documentation, conducts internal audits, ensures compliance of suppliers and contractors, and facilitates continuous improvement across project teams. **Expectations** - Minimum 8 years of engineering quality experience on large linear infrastructure projects. - Proven ability to draft and manage French‑language quality documentation and audit reports. - Strong command of MS Office suite and electronic document management. - Collaborative, proactive, with strong listening, analytical and synthesis skills. **Key Responsibilities** - Draft and maintain quality manual and procedures for the AMO consortium. - Coordinate interfaces between quality documents and project stakeholders. - Lead training workshops on quality practices, regulatory requirements, and documentation for existing and new team members. - Conduct internal quality audits and schedule external contractor audits. - Manage electronic document repository for project quality records. - Develop and monitor quality metrics and performance indicators. - Verify completeness of Work Orders’ Quality Plans (PAQs) and alignment with contractual specifications. - Follow up with contractor teams on contract‑mandated quality documentation. - Establish launch and tracking procedures for quality audits and supplier reviews. **Required Skills** - Engineering quality expertise (rail/infrastructure). - Fluency in French (written and spoken). - French‑language proficiency for technical documentation. - MS Office proficiency (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). - Excellent written and verbal communication. - Collaborative teamwork and proactive problem‑solving. **Required Education & Certifications** - Graduate from an engineering school or university in Civil Engineering. - No additional certifications required; professional quality management certification (e.g., CQA, CQE) is a plus.
