Job Description
**Job title**: Data Stewardship Analyst – Governance – Banking **Role Summary**: Provide second‑line oversight of data governance, coordinating the monthly Information Area Forum (IAF), maintaining data quality trackers, and ensuring compliance with risk management and regulatory frameworks. **Expectations**: - Deliver concise, accurate IAF documentation and minutes. - Facilitate timely action follow‑up among stakeholders. - Maintain alignment with the organization’s risk, compliance, and data management policies. **Key Responsibilities**: - Consolidate, review, and present material for the IAF, including monitoring templates and other stakeholder inputs. - Serve as IAF secretariat: chair support, minute drafting, and distribution. - Track and update data quality issues in collaboration with Data SMEs and the Data Management Team. - Coordinate action items, ensuring completion within set timelines. - Operate within the Risk Management framework, escalating concerns promptly to line management. **Required Skills**: - Experience in data governance or business analysis in financial services. - Knowledge of data governance frameworks, data quality principles, and data management best practices. - Strong communication, coordination, and stakeholder collaboration skills. - Proficiency in MS Excel (formulas, pivot tables). - Pro‑active, organized, and detail‑oriented. - Awareness of relevant regulatory requirements. **Required Education & Certifications**: - Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Information Systems, or a related field. - Relevant certifications (e.g., DAMA‑DMBOK, Certified Data Management Professional, or similar) preferred but not mandatory.
