Human Resources Analyst (HR Analyst II)
**Role Summary**
The Human Resources Analyst supports end‑to‑end employee lifecycle processes, ensuring smooth onboarding, accurate workforce data, compliance with immigration requirements, and effective data governance. The role serves as the primary point of contact for new hires, HR inquiries, and system administration, collaborating across HR and business functions to maintain high‑quality HRIS data and deliver an exceptional employee experience.
**Expactations**
- Manage all onboarding activities, including offer issuance, system access, and documentation.
- Administer employee data in HRIS (PeopleSoft, SPEAR, and related tools) and reconcile data across systems.
- Provide HR policy support, partnership with Benefits for life‑event processing, and act as Employee Handbook subject‑matter expert.
- Ensure I‑9 compliance for US hires and re‑verification for existing staff.
- Enforce data‑governance principles, support internal/external audits, and maintain accurate records.
- Handle question mailboxes, case‑management tool, and HR emergency hotline.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Lead onboarding of internal and external hires, acting as primary liaison and ensuring a positive first‑day experience.
- Maintain and validate employee records in HRIS, including demographic, compensation, and benefit data.
- Reconcile and update employee attributes across multiple systems, ensuring consistency.
- Support exit processes, processing leavers and data cleanup.
- Respond to employee HR policy inquiries and provide accurate guidance.
- Partner with Benefits to process life events, leaves, and program enrollment.
- Administer I‑9 immigration verification for new US hires and re‑verify as required.
- Enforce data‑governance standards; conduct regular data audits and support audit findings.
- Manage shared mailbox, case‑management system, and HR emergency hotline logistics.
**Required Skills**
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and data integrity.
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English and French.
- Client‑service orientation with ability to collaborate across multicultural teams.
- Process‑focused, capable of working independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite; experience with HRIS platforms (PeopleSoft, SPEAR) preferred.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related social science field.
- 1–3 years of HR experience, preferably in onboarding, workforce administration, or compliance.
- HR certification (e.g., SHRM‑CP, HRCI‑PHR) is an advantage but not mandatory.
