**Job Title**
Certified Pega Decisioning Consultant
**Role Summary**
Leverage Pega Decisioning expertise to architect, design, and implement business processes, analytical models, and integration solutions. Own technical decisioning components, data model extensions, and API integrations while ensuring alignment with Agile/SaFe delivery schedules.
**Expectations**
- Minimum 3 years of experience with Pega CDH v8.8 in decisioning, data modeling, and process design.
- Proven leadership in design, documentation, and change impact assessment.
- Hands‑on API (Azure) integration, secure file transfer, and component development.
- Ability to collaborate across onshore/offshore teams using GitHub/RTC and automation tools.
- Strong communication with business and technical stakeholders.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Design and elaborate decisioning logic: decision tables, scorecards, filters, strategy sets, switches, and ranking models.
- Extend Pega framework via class structure, hierarchy, and use‑case design.
- Create and manage classes, properties, and data elements.
- Evaluate change request impacts, update design documents, and validate against business rules.
- Develop and maintain custom integration components (API, file storage, secure transfer).
- Conduct unit and end‑to‑end testing on Pega 8.x platform.
- Participate in deployments, code merges, and release management within Agile/SaFe cadence.
- Work collaboratively with offshore and onshore teams in a support model.
**Required Skills**
- Pega Decisioning (CDH v8.8) – decision tables, scorecards, filters, strategy sets, ranking.
- Pega data modeling – class hierarchy, use‑case design, properties, data elements.
- API integration (Azure), secure file transfer, and file storage solutions.
- Agile, SAFe methodologies; experience with GitHub, RTC, automation tools.
- Test planning & execution on Pega platform.
- Database awareness (PostgreSQL, Oracle, IBM DB2).
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Certified Pega Decisioning Solution Architect (CPDA) or higher, or
- Certified Pega Lead System Architect, or equivalent Pega certification.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field preferred.
