**Job Title:** Vice President, Sales & Marketing
**Role Summary:**
Lead the global sales and marketing function for a technology company specializing in HVAC and building automation sensors. Report directly to the CEO, create and drive a unified worldwide strategy, expand the international sales footprint, and cultivate channel partnerships. Oversee a dispersed sales organization, implement disciplined pipeline management, and align marketing initiatives with sales objectives to support sustainable growth.
**Expectations:**
- 15+ years of progressive sales leadership in building automation, HVAC, industrial instrumentation, or a related technical sector.
- Proven experience managing large, geographically dispersed teams across international markets.
- Demonstrated success building and maintaining relationships with key accounts, distributors, and stakeholders.
- Executive‑level communication skill set with capability to translate strategy into measurable action plans.
- Familiarity with professional sales training frameworks (e.g., Korn Ferry, Holden, Miller Heiman).
- Comfortable with frequent domestic and international travel (up to 30%).
**Key Responsibilities:**
1. Formulate and execute a global sales strategy that aligns with corporate objectives.
2. Expand the company’s international presence, identify new market opportunities, and develop scalable sales infrastructure.
3. Build and sustain relationships with key customers and channel partners to drive revenue growth.
4. Implement and champion CRM adoption, disciplined pipeline management, and accurate forecasting to support a high‑performance sales culture.
5. Align marketing initiatives with sales goals, ensuring cohesive brand positioning and effective go‑to‑market execution.
6. Lead, mentor, and develop a geographically dispersed sales team, establishing performance metrics and coaching frameworks.
7. Translate market insights into product development input and refine go‑to‑market strategies.
8. Drive innovation and continuous improvement across the sales and marketing functions.
9. Collaborate with cross‑functional leaders (product, finance, operations) to ensure integrated execution.
10. Provide executive reporting on sales performance, forecasts, and market intelligence.
