Job Description: Job Title: Data Engineer Role Summary: Design, build, and maintain scalable, cloud‑native data pipelines—leveraging Python, SQL, and AWS data services—to support analytics and decision‑making for a large enterprise banking environment. Expectations: 12‑month contract with strong conversion potential; hybrid onsite frequency (3 days per week). Key Responsibilities: - Develop and optimize ETL processes and data workflows. - Model and manage data warehousing solutions. - Collaborate with analysts, engineers, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into robust data solutions. - Lead technology modernization and migration initiatives (e.g., to AWS). - Implement data governance, security, and compliance controls. - Deploy pipelines using CI/CD practices. Required Skills: - 5+ years experience in data engineering and ETL development. - Proficiency in Python and SQL. - Deep knowledge of data modeling, warehousing, and analytics architecture. - Experience designing and sustaining scalable data pipelines. - Hands‑on expertise with AWS data services (e.g., Redshift, EMR, Glue, Athena). - Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and collaboration skills.
