**Job Title**
Business Analyst
**Role Summary**
Analyze and translate business needs into functional specifications for digital transformation and IT modernization initiatives across multiple industries. Coordinate between stakeholders and technical teams, document requirements, and facilitate project deliverables in agile, waterfall, or hybrid environments.
**Expactations**
- Mid to Senior‑level professional with 3+ years of business analysis experience.
- Strong grasp of SDLC, Agile practices, and change management.
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in cross‑functional teams.
- Commitment to high‑quality documentation, stakeholder engagement, and timely delivery.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Elicit and document business, functional, and non‑functional requirements from business, technical, and product stakeholders.
- Translate requirements into user stories, process flows, and technical specifications using tools such as Visio, Lucidchart, or Draw.io.
- Facilitate workshops, interviews, and joint application development (JAD) sessions.
- Conduct gap analysis, impact assessments, and process modeling.
- Collaborate with developers, QA, UX/UI, and product owners throughout development cycles.
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), data validation, and change management activities.
- Prepare and maintain Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), Functional Requirements Documents (FRDs), and other project artefacts.
- Ensure alignment with industry standards, regulations, and project governance.
**Required Skills**
- Business Analysis in banking, insurance, financial services, IT, software, logistics, energy, education, media, retail, telecom, manufacturing, or government.
- Proficiency in workflow modeling, data analysis, and documentation.
- Experience with Agile tools (Jira, Confluence, ServiceNow, TFS).
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and recommendation skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication with technical and non‑technical audiences.
- Familiarity with process mapping software and documentation tools.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field (preferred).
- Certifications: CBAP, PMI‑PBA, Certified Scrum Master (CSM), or Product Owner designation.
