**Job title** Director of Sales **Role Summary** Senior commercial leader responsible for national revenue performance and market share growth in the Canadian packaged goods sector. Owns sales strategy, forecasting, margin protection, and execution across multiple revenue models (Buy/Sell, Buy Back, 3P DSD, 3P Services). Leads a geographically dispersed sales team, hires talent, and drives profitable expansion. **Expectations** - Full accountability for revenue, margins, forecasting accuracy, and sales execution nationwide. - Deliver sustained, profitable growth across all business models. - Maintain ethical standards, professionalism, and strong executive presence with senior customer levels. **Key Responsibilities** - Own total national revenue performance and market share growth. - Develop and execute integrated go‑to‑market strategies. - Lead national sales planning, forecasting, and performance tracking. - Oversee national customer strategy across Buy/Sell, Buy Back, 3P DSD, and 3P Services. - Optimize vendor programs to drive growth. - Expand 3P DSD and 3P Services through targeted acquisition and execution. - Mobilize resources to close performance gaps and accelerate growth. - Monitor competitive activity and protect margins. - Lead, coach, and performance‑manage a geographically dispersed sales team. - Recruit and develop top‑tier sales talent. - Ensure disciplined pipeline management and forecasting. - Partner closely with Operations for seamless execution. - Build succession strength and bench depth. **Required Skills** - 10–15 years of progressive sales leadership in CPG or packaged goods (premium or branded products preferred). - Proven senior‑level account management with major Canadian grocery retailers (at least two of Walmart, Sobeys, Loblaws). - Direct experience leading, coaching, and performance‑managing a national or geographically dispersed sales organization. - Strong commercial and financial acumen; experience managing revenue, margins, forecasting, and budgets. - Data‑driven, analytical, performance‑focused mindset. - Executive presence and ability to engage senior customer leaders. - Change leadership and sales process improvement experience. - Preferable: experience selling across multiple revenue models; operationally‑driven business exposure; SAP B1 familiarity. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field. - Advanced sales or management certifications (e.g., Certified Sales Executive) preferred but not mandatory.
