**Job title**
Sr. Project Manager
**Role Summary**
Lead and deliver security‑focused cloud transformation projects, ensuring architecture, compliance, and risk controls are integrated across cloud platforms. Coordinate cross‑functional teams, manage project lifecycle from initiation to close, and maintain alignment between technical and business stakeholders.
**Expectations**
- In-depth understanding of IT security & compliance.
- Proven ability to manage multiple parallel projects in a cloud environment.
- Strong communicator capable of translating complex security requirements to non‑technical audiences.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Plan, execute, and close cloud security projects (RFP, vendor selection, PoC, requirements, design, configuration, testing, integration, UAT, go‑live, post‑implementation).
- Manage resources, budgets, and schedules across enterprise applications, infrastructure, data platforms, and digital transformation initiatives.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, dependencies, and conflicts; develop contingency plans.
- Ensure all deliverables comply with security policies, industry standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, Cloud Controls Matrix) and relevant regulations.
- Serve as liaison between business stakeholders, IT teams, vendors, and compliance functions; foster cross‑functional collaboration.
- Provide regular status, risk, and mitigation reports to leadership; drive continuous improvement of project management processes.
**Required Skills**
- 5+ years project management in IT security & compliance.
- 5+ years general IT professional experience.
- Strong domain knowledge of Azure, AWS, and cloud security concepts (network security, encryption, IAM, data protection, threat modeling, defense‑in‑depth).
- Familiarity with SDLC in cloud environments.
- Understanding of risk frameworks and security standards applicable to cloud computing.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (preferred).
- Project management certification (PMP, Prince2, or equivalent).
- Information security certification (CISSP, CCSP, or CCSK) preferred.
