Job Title: Artificial Intelligence Engineer
Role Summary: Design, develop, and deploy secure AI solutions using generative AI, large language models (LLMs), and cloud platforms. Build end‑to‑end AI pipelines, fine‑tune foundation models, and integrate AI components into enterprise systems while ensuring scalability, security, and operational excellence.
Expectations: Deliver high‑quality AI models and pipelines on schedule, maintain rigorous security standards, continuously evaluate and improve model performance, and actively mentor teammates.
Key Responsibilities
• Design and implement cloud‑native AI solutions on Azure and AWS, ensuring scalability, resilience, and compliance.
• Build, optimize, and deploy end‑to‑end AI/ML pipelines, including data ingestion, training, fine‑tuning, and inference.
• Fine‑tune foundation models or train custom LLMs; integrate LLMs into business applications using frameworks such as LangChain or Semantic Kernel.
• Develop generative AI applications, leveraging OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, and Hugging Face APIs.
• Apply secure‑by‑design principles throughout software development, using modern, high‑level languages.
• Evaluate AI/ML pipeline and model performance, conduct comprehensive testing, and iterate for improvement.
• Implement MLOps practices: containerization (Docker), CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and lifecycle management.
• Produce clear technical documentation and communicate findings to technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Mentor peers and lead knowledge‑sharing initiatives.
• Contribute to research, pilot programs, and innovation sprints exploring new AI capabilities.
Required Skills
• Python programming with TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit‑learn.
• Experience with LLMs, generative AI frameworks (OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Hugging Face).
• Proficiency in cloud AI/ML services on Azure and/or AWS.
• MLOps expertise: Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, monitoring tools.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Knowledge of agent frameworks (LangChain, Semantic Kernel); familiarity with Microsoft Power Platform and Copilot is a plus.
Required Education & Certifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related field with 3+ years AI/ML experience; OR Master’s degree with 1+ year AI/ML development experience.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Azure AI Engineer Associate, AWS Certified Machine Learning – Specialty, TensorFlow Developer Certificate) are advantageous.
