Job title: ITSM/ITAM Lead Developer
Role Summary: Lead ServiceNow developer specializing in IT Service Management (ITSM), Human Resources Service Delivery (HRSD), Configuration Management Database (CMDB), IT Operations Management (ITOM), IT Asset Management (ITAM), and Hardware Asset Management Professional (HAM Pro). Own end‑to‑end design, development, and deployment of custom solutions, integrations, and automation across these modules.
Expecations: Deliver scalable, compliant ServiceNow applications that meet business requirements, maintain high code quality, participate in Agile cycles, and support platform upgrades. Ensure alignment with ITIL, ITAM best practices, and organizational governance.
Key Responsibilities: • Design, develop, and implement ServiceNow solutions for ITSM, HRSD, CMDB, ITOM, ITAM, and HAM Pro.
• Configure HAM Pro: asset lifecycle automation, normalization, reclamation workflows, and reconciliation rules.
• Build and maintain integrations (REST/SOAP, IntegrationHub, MID Server) with external asset and procurement systems.
• Create UI pages, dashboards, portals, catalog items, record producers, and Flow Designer automations for asset visibility and request processes.
• Participate in requirement analysis, design discussions, sprint planning, and backlog grooming.
• Apply ServiceNow best practices, platform governance, and ITAM standards.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues in testing and production.
• Collaborate with BA, QA, and architects to deliver robust solutions.
• Support platform upgrades, patches, performance tuning, especially for HAM Pro modules.
• Maintain technical documentation, version control, and CI/CD pipelines.
Required Skills: • 12+ years of ServiceNow development and customization.
• Deep experience with ITAM and HAM Pro module configuration, asset lifecycle, and data modeling.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, Glide API, client‑ and server‑side scripting.
• Knowledge of Flow Designer, Business Rules, UI Policies, Catalog Client Scripts, update sets, source control, deployment.
• SDLC, Agile, and CI/CD expertise.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Required Education & Certifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) required; additional certifications (CIS ITAM, HAM, ITSM, Application Developer) preferred.
