**Job Title** ETL Developer **Role Summary** Contractor responsible for designing, building, and maintaining advanced data pipelines that extract, transform, and load (ETL) enterprise data into Data Lakes, Data Warehouses, or data marts. The role focuses on Oracle Exadata environments, leveraging SQL/PLSQL, data modeling, and Informatica IICS to deliver scalable, high‑performance ETL solutions over a 12+ month engagement. **Expectations** - 8+ years of professional ETL development experience. - 12‑month or longer contract with 35 hours/week commitment (hybrid work). - Strong focus on data warehouse / lake architecture and performance tuning. - Ability to quickly learn new tools and complex data structures. **Key Responsibilities** - Design and implement end‑to‑end ETL pipelines using Informatica IICS and PL/SQL for Oracle Exadata. - Develop and maintain data models, ER diagrams, and database schemas. - Write, test, and optimize SQL/PLSQL code, stored procedures, triggers, materialized views, and dynamic SQL. - Perform database lifecycle management: development, unit testing, deployment, and ongoing support. - Tune ETL processes and database performance to meet SLAs and business requirements. - Collaborate with business analysts and data architects to translate functional requirements into technical solutions. - Document architecture, code, and processes; maintain and improve existing ETL workflows. **Required Skills** - Proficient in SQL, PL/SQL, and Oracle database development. - Deep experience with ETL design, implementation, and tuning (minimum 5 years). - Hands‑on expertise with Informatica IICS (or comparable ETL tools). - Strong data modeling, ER design, and database architecture skills. - Knowledge of Oracle Exadata platform, data lake concepts, and enterprise data warehouse patterns. - Advanced performance‑tuning techniques for both ETL and database layers. - Ability to write clean, well‑documented code with robust exception handling. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (preferred). - Oracle Certified Professional – SQL/PLSQL (or equivalent). - Informatica IICS certification (preferred).
