Own feature delivery, interoperation with the C++ core, and creation of an idiomatic developer experience. **Expectations:** - Deliver feature work quickly while maintaining high code quality. - Own project scope, from prioritization with product managers to implementation. - Continuously advocate for and implement foundational improvements. **Key Responsibilities:** - Define and prioritize feature scope in collaboration with PMs and engineering leads. - Design, implement, and ship new runtime features, API ergonomics, and developer tooling. - Bridge the NodeJS layer with the C++ core: manage interop via the Node API. - Optimize streaming, concurrency, and overall runtime performance at scale. - Write clean, maintainable JavaScript/TypeScript code with strong typing. - Conduct code reviews, mentor teammates, and share best practices. **Required Skills:** - Proficient in JavaScript and TypeScript. - Deep understanding of Node.js fundamentals: event loop, streams, async patterns. - Strong communication skills; able to collaborate across product, design, and engineering. - Comfortable working with C++ and Node API interop. - Experience delivering high‑quality, production‑grade Node packages. **Bonus Qualifications:** - AI or ML background, familiarity with LLM/TTS concepts. - Experience with AI‑assisted coding tools. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent technical experience.
