Job Description

Job Title: Sr ServiceNow Application Developer Role Summary: Design, develop, and maintain custom scoped applications and platform enhancements on ServiceNow. Collaborate with architects, platform owners, and stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure solutions and mentor junior developers. Expectations: 5+ years ServiceNow development experience, 2+ years scoped application building, strong JavaScript skills, deep knowledge of ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, HR modules, excellent problem‑solving and communication. Agile and DevOps experience preferred. Key Responsibilities: • Build and maintain scoped applications using ServiceNow Studio. • Configure modules with Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, UI Policies, Flow Designer. • Write server‑side and client‑side JavaScript using ServiceNow APIs. • Troubleshoot complex issues, support upgrades, patching, and testing. • Mentor junior developers and document technical solutions. Required Skills: • ServiceNow Platform (ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, HR, Custom Apps) • Scoped Applications & ServiceNow Studio • JavaScript (Server‑side & Client‑side) • Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, UI Policies • Flow Designer & IntegrationHub (REST/SOAP) • Problem‑solving and communication • Agile/DevOps (preferred) Required Education & Certifications: • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) • ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) • ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) (preferred) • No specific degree requirement specified.
