Job title: Director of Sales & Marketing
Role Summary: Senior commercial leader responsible for developing and executing a scalable B2B sales and marketing strategy for a high‑growth industrial OEM. Drives revenue, market expansion, and operational excellence across domestic and international channels while mentoring cross‑functional teams.
Expectations: Deliver aggressive revenue targets, create profitable go‑to‑market plans, and establish data‑driven performance frameworks. Partner with executive leadership on pricing, contract terms, and commercial risk. Represent the company in key customer negotiations and serve as the senior commercial face for major accounts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement the company’s commercial strategy, including B2B sales plans, market positioning, and growth initiatives.
- Build and optimize scalable sales processes, KPI frameworks, forecasting models, CRM utilization, and reporting structures.
- Lead, mentor, and grow a sales, business development, and marketing team to achieve high revenue goals.
- Identify new industrial markets, growth channels, and strategic partnership opportunities (Canada, U.S., and international).
- Oversee marketing and branding initiatives, including digital campaigns, trade shows, thought leadership, and lead generation.
- Collaborate with executive leadership on pricing, contract strategy, and commercial risk management.
- Design performance metrics aligned with profitability, market penetration, and customer satisfaction.
- Negotiate key customer contracts and act as senior commercial representative for major accounts.
Required Skills:
- 10+ years of progressive B2B sales leadership, preferably with integrated marketing ownership.
- Proven ability to scale commercial operations in industrial/OEM or engineered solutions sectors; experience with $50M+ revenue organizations.
- Expertise in selling engineered‑to‑order or custom industrial systems.
- Advanced knowledge of CRM platforms, sales KPI tracking, and performance‑based forecasting.
- Strong strategic thinking, go‑to‑market planning, and margin‑improvement execution.
- Executive‑level communication, client engagement, and leadership skills.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- Relevant sales or marketing certifications (e.g., Certified Professional Sales Leader, Salesforce Certified Administrator) are advantageous.
