Job Title: Scrum Master
Role Summary: Lead and coach Agile teams in a fast‑paced, cloud‑first financial software environment, ensuring delivery of high‑quality, secure, integration‑heavy solutions. Facilitate scalable Agile practices, stakeholder collaboration, and continuous improvement across multiple teams or programs.
Expectations:
- Serve as a servant‑leader for one or more Agile teams in a hybrid setting.
- Drive adherence to Scrum, Kanban, and Scaled Agile frameworks (SAFe, Nexus, LeSS).
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, impediment removal, and predictive delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate all Agile ceremonies: Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Backlog Refinement, Sprint Review, and Retrospective.
- Coach Product Owners on backlog grooming, story decomposition, estimation, and value prioritization.
- Remove impediments, negotiate dependencies, and coordinate cross‑functional collaboration (engineering, QA, architecture, compliance, operations).
- Guide teams on secure SDLC/SADLC practices, DevOps integration, and regulatory compliance (PCI, SOC, FFIEC, CFPB requirements).
- Manage Agile lifecycle tools (Azure DevOps, Jira, Rally, VersionOne).
- Lead multiple teams or a large, scaled program, ensuring alignment of objectives and velocity.
- Support integration‑heavy, API‑driven, and data‑centric system development.
- Facilitate technical discussions, backlog elaboration, and dependency alignment across teams.
- Contribute to or establish Agile Centers of Excellence and process governance initiatives.
Required Skills:
- 7+ years as Scrum Master in enterprise‑level financial or debt‑management software.
- Deep knowledge of Scrum, Kanban, SAFe/Nexus/LeSS.
- Strong understanding of SDLC, SADLC, DevOps, cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP).
- Proven facilitation, conflict resolution, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
- Expertise in Agile tools (Azure DevOps, Jira, Rally, VersionOne).
- Ability to coach Product Owners and guide teams on backlog refinement and estimation.
- Experience with integration‑heavy, API‑driven or data‑centric systems.
- Understanding of regulatory, privacy, and security requirements in financial services.
Required Education & Certifications:
- SAFe Scrum Master (SSM) or SAFe Advanced Scrum Master (SASM) preferred.
- Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM I/II), ICP‑ACC, or equivalent.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (preferred).
