**Job Title** OutSystems Developer **Role Summary** A contract OutSystems Developer to design, develop, and deploy scalable web and mobile applications on the OutSystems platform. The role is fully remote (UK‑based) and spans 3–6 months, initially within a technology agency delivering low‑code solutions to enterprise clients. **Expectations** - Begin work immediately; contract duration 3–6 months with possibility of extension. - Work independently in a remote, Agile environment while collaborating closely with UX, product, and backend teams. - Deliver clean, maintainable code and participate in architecture discussions. **Key Responsibilities** - Design and develop responsive web and mobile applications using OutSystems Reactive Web, Traditional Web, and Mobile frameworks. - Integrate OutSystems applications with REST/SOAP APIs, external databases, and enterprise systems. - Write modular, well‑documented code following best practices and maintain application lifecycle via OutSystems Service Studio, Integration Studio, and Lifetime. - Participate in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, stand‑ups, reviews, retrospectives). - Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues across development life‑cycle. - Optimize application performance to ensure high‑quality user experiences. - Contribute to architectural discussions and recommend technical improvements. **Required Skills** - Proficient in OutSystems development (Reactive Web, Traditional Web, Mobile). - Solid grasp of low‑code architecture, data modelling, and application lifecycle management. - Experience integrating with REST/SOAP APIs and external data sources. - Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies. - Strong problem‑solving, debugging, and code‑review skills. - Excellent written and verbal communication; able to work autonomously in a remote setting. **Required Education & Certifications** - OutSystems certification (Associate or Professional Developer) required. - Relevant degree or equivalent experience in software development, computer science, or related field.
