Job Description
**Job Title:** Mechanical Commissioning Manager **Role Summary:** Lead and oversee the full mechanical commissioning lifecycle for critical infrastructure projects, ensuring HVAC, chilled water, AHU, piping, and fire‑protection systems are designed, tested, and handed over in compliance with project standards and safety regulations. **Expactations:** - Deliver commissioning plans, test procedures, and documentation on schedule. - Maintain compliance with health, safety, and quality standards. - Provide clear progress reporting to stakeholders and secure timely sign‑offs. **Key Responsibilities:** - Direct commissioning of mechanical systems (HVAC, chilled water, AHUs, piping, fire protection). - Review and approve commissioning plans, test scripts, and method statements. - Manage pre‑functional and functional testing, including FAT/SAT and TAB processes. - Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and internal teams to resolve technical issues. - Produce and maintain comprehensive commissioning documentation and reports. - Chair commissioning meetings and deliver regular status updates. **Required Skills:** - Proven experience managing mechanical commissioning on critical‑environment projects (e.g., data centres). - Strong knowledge of HVAC, BAS/BMS integration, chilled water, AHUs, piping, and fire‑protection systems. - Deep understanding of commissioning processes, design reviews, FAT/SAT, TAB, and reporting. - Ability to read and interpret mechanical schematics and technical documents. - Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder‑management abilities. - Eligibility to work in France (EU passport or equivalent). **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience). - Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, CMRP, Certified Commissioning Engineer) preferred but not mandatory.
