Job Description
**Job Title** Marketing Manager – Grain/Specialty **Role Summary** Strategic brand leader responsible for driving growth, profitability, and market leadership for the Diacon and Centynal grain protectant product portfolio. Works cross‑functionally to develop and execute marketing plans from concept through commercialization while managing the brand P&L and aligning initiatives with corporate objectives. **Expectations** - Deliver measurable growth and profitability for assigned brands. - Own the end‑to‑end brand marketing lifecycle and P&L. - Provide data‑driven insights and recommendations to senior leadership. **Key Responsibilities** - Develop and execute business objectives and marketing plans for the brand portfolio. - Manage brand P&L: pricing, margin improvement, marketing spend, and regular reporting. - Conduct competitive, adjacent, and new market research using AI, Salesforce, syndicated data, and Business Objects. - Lead agency and partner relationships to execute brand strategies and campaigns. - Create sales enablement assets: presentations, collateral, launch materials, and customer programs. - Champion the brand at industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings. - Lead cross‑functional teams for product launches and project execution. - Partner with Sales Operations to improve forecast accuracy, product availability, and supply‑chain efficiency. - Plan, execute, and track targeted Salesforce email marketing campaigns. **Required Skills** - P&L ownership and profitability improvement. - Product launch and market development experience. - Proficiency with Salesforce/CRM, Business Objects (BOBJ), and MS Office Suite. - Strong analytical skills with ability to present data persuasively. - Excellent project management, cross‑functional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work independently and deliver high‑quality work with minimal oversight. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field (MBA preferred). - 5–7 years of brand management or marketing experience in a B2B environment; regulated products experience is a plus.
