Job Description
**Job title**: Service Desk Analyst **Role Summary**: Provide first‑ and second‑line support to end users in a financial services environment, troubleshooting Microsoft, mobile, hardware, and network issues while ensuring compliance with IT security standards. **Expectations**: - Resolve incidents promptly with a focus on first‑time fix. - Maintain accurate ticketing records and documentation. - Collaborate effectively with global IT teams and adhere to regulatory requirements. **Key Responsibilities**: - Respond to and manage incidents via ticketing system, escalating to higher tiers as necessary. - Troubleshoot and resolve issues on Windows, macOS, iOS, Android devices, desktops, printers, and peripherals. - Manage user accounts and permissions in Active Directory, Exchange (Azure/On‑Prem), and Office 365. - Deploy, configure, and maintain SCCM, Intune, and McAfee security solutions. - Support Cisco CUCM VOIP and voice‑recording systems. - Create and apply Group Policies and develop PowerShell scripts for automation. - Deliver basic user training on applications and security practices. - Document solutions and contribute to the knowledge base. - Monitor and enforce IT security and compliance policies relevant to financial services. - Work independently within a small team, taking initiative and communicating with global stakeholders. **Required Skills**: - CompTIA A+ certification (required). - Strong knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory, Exchange (Azure/On‑Prem), Office 365, SCCM, Intune, and McAfee. - Experience troubleshooting Windows, iOS, Android, and hardware (desktops, printers, peripherals). - Familiarity with Cisco CUCM VOIP and voice‑recording systems. - Ability to configure Group Policies and write PowerShell scripts. - Clear verbal and written communication; ability to provide basic training. - Analytical problem‑solving skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a focus on first‑time resolution. - Team‑oriented, self‑motivated, and capable of collaborating with global IT teams. **Required Education & Certifications**: - Minimum 2 years of deskside support experience, preferably in financial services. - CompTIA A+ certification. - Understanding of IT compliance and security best practices in a financial services environment.
