Salesforce Solution Architect
**Role Summary**
The Salesforce Solution Architect leads end‑to‑end design and delivery of scalable, secure Salesforce solutions across Sales Cloud, Revenue Cloud, Experience Cloud, and custom applications. This strategic technical role collaborates with business stakeholders, IT teams, and third‑party vendors to align the platform with enterprise architecture and business goals, ensuring high‑performance, compliant, and future‑ready implementations.
**Expectations**
- Guide architecture from requirements to production, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards and security compliance.
- Mentor and manage development teams (onshore/offshore), fostering best practices and quality code.
- Drive continuous improvement of the platform through adoption of new releases, tools, and process refinements.
**Key Responsibilities**
1. Lead Salesforce architectural initiatives across Sales Cloud, Revenue Cloud, Experience Cloud, and custom logic.
2. Design and implement scalable, secure solutions that adhere to enterprise architecture and best practices.
3. Conduct architectural reviews, integration design, and code quality oversight for internal and external developers.
4. Collaborate with business partners to gather requirements, prototype solutions, and deliver high‑value CRM capabilities.
5. Manage ongoing Salesforce development: custom objects, flows, Apex triggers, and Lightning components.
6. Mentor developers and administrators, providing technical guidance and support.
7. Integrate Salesforce with enterprise systems and data platforms using APIs, middleware (e.g., MuleSoft), and data transformation tools.
8. Support incident and release management, and monitor performance.
9. Ensure data integrity, platform governance, and compliance with security/privacy standards (e.g., SOX, GDPR).
10. Stay current with Salesforce releases and roadmap to inform platform strategy.
**Required Skills**
- Deep understanding of Salesforce architecture, development lifecycle, and best practices.
- Proficient in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, and declarative tools (Flows, Process Builder).
- Strong knowledge of Salesforce security models, sharing rules, and data architecture.
- Experience designing complex integrations using APIs, middleware (e.g., MuleSoft), and data transformation tools.
- Familiarity with Agile practices (Jira, Azure DevOps).
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 8+ years of Salesforce experience, including 3+ years as an Architect or Technical Lead.
- Salesforce certifications: Application Architect or System Architect (CTA preferred).
