**Job Title:** Assistant Project Manager
**Role Summary:**
Supports project managers on complex design‑only and EPC projects within transmission & distribution, telecommunications, SCADA, oil & gas pipeline, and water/wastewater infrastructure sectors. Acts as primary liaison among clients, contractors, vendors, and internal teams, ensuring projects meet schedule, budget, and quality targets while maintaining document control and project databases.
**Expectations:**
- Minimum 5 years relevant experience in T&D or related infrastructure projects.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related accredited field.
- Strong written and verbal communication; analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
- Ability to work onsite in Atlanta, GA or Chattanooga, TN, including overtime on short notice.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with Primavera Contract Manager or similar change‑management tools preferred.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Assist PMs in RFP development, bid evaluation, and scope‑of‑work preparation.
- Coordinate contractor submittals, RFIs, design instructions, and drawing logs.
- Verify contractor compliance (quality, safety, environmental, material management).
- Manage contracts: change orders, field directives, invoice approvals, schedule updates.
- Support project controls: cost reporting, scheduling, WBS creation, system setup/closeout, field progress tracking.
- Prepare internal and external reports (budget, cost, cash‑flow forecasts, status updates).
- Participate in risk reviews and liaise with Legal as needed.
- Close out contracts and project documentation; maintain document control throughout.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Primavera Contract Manager or comparable software preferred.
