Job Title: Lead ServiceNow Developer
Role Summary: Lead technical advisor and architect for ServiceNow IT Service Management and Strategic Portfolio Management, guiding solution design, implementation, and governance for large-scale enterprise deployments.
Expectations: 8+ years of ServiceNow development experience focused on ITSM and SPM; hybrid leadership/engineering role; ability to mentor team members; deliver high-quality solutions on time; collaborate with business and IT stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead configuration, customization, and integration of ServiceNow modules (ITSM, ITOM, ITBM, SACM, CSDM, HRSD, SPM).
- Design and implement enterprise‑scale workflows and automation using Flow Designer, Script Includes, Business Rules, and REST/SOAP APIs.
- Integrate ServiceNow with external systems via Integration Hub, ServiceNow APIs, and custom connectors.
- Optimize portfolio performance and continuous improvement of processes.
- Mentor junior developers, enforce best practices, and promote code quality and documentation.
- Engage stakeholders to gather requirements, translate them into technical solutions, and maintain governance processes.
- Participate in agile ceremonies (sprint planning, backlog grooming, demos) and collaborate with BSA, Scrum Master, and QA.
Required Skills:
- Deep expertise in ServiceNow modules (ITSM, ITOM, ITBM, SPM, etc.).
- Advanced JavaScript and Glide API scripting.
- REST/SOAP integration experience and familiarity with Integration Hub.
- Workflow automation (Flow Designer, Business Rules, Scripted Services).
- Knowledge of compliance frameworks (ISO, NIST).
- Cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) experience preferred.
- Strong problem‑solving, communication, and teamwork abilities.
Required Education & Certifications:
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA).
- ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist – SPM (preferred).
