Job Description
**Job title:** Data Analyst / Developer – Power BI & Microsoft Fabric **Role Summary:** Lead the Data & Analytics architecture for the Cyber Division, delivering end‑to‑end solutions across Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, and Copilot Studio. Drive design, ingestion, semantic modeling, reporting, governance, and AI‑assisted analytics to empower data‑driven decisions. **Expectations:** - Own architecture for trusted data repositories, semantic models, and AI workflows within Microsoft’s analytics stack. - Ensure secure, performant, and governed solutions that meet enterprise data policies and responsible AI guidelines. **Key Responsibilities:** - Design and implement data ingestion pipelines, OneLake and SQL Analytics workloads. - Build semantic models, develop DAX measures, and optimize Power BI reports for performance and usability. - Establish governance: endorsements, certifications, lineage, RBAC, DLP policies, and secure refresh (OAuth2/API keys, on‑prem gateways). - Develop Copilot Studio agents for data Q&A and workflow automation via Power Automate, Dataverse, Graph. - Use Power BI Copilot for faster authoring and insight generation. - Promote responsible AI standards: data readiness, grounding, evaluation, compliance with generative‑AI guidelines. - Mentor and train Cyber team members, facilitating knowledge transfer on Power BI/Fabric practices. - Engage stakeholders at all levels to refine requirements and communicate solutions. **Required Skills:** - ≥5 years of advanced Power BI modeling & DAX expertise, including performance analysis and governance. - ≥5 years API analytics experience (auth, pagination, throttling). - ≥2 years Microsoft Fabric fundamentals (workspaces, notebooks, pipelines, OneLake, SQL Analytics). - ≥2 years Copilot Studio agent design and integration (Power Automate, Dataverse, Graph). **Additional Qualifications (Preferred):** - RTI/KQL, Activator alerting. - Technical leadership in Power BI/MS Fabric Community of Practice. - Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Minimum education: High‑school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field preferred. - Certifications: Microsoft Power BI Certification, Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Solution Architect or equivalent.
