Job Description

**Job Title** Director of Information Security **Role Summary** Strategic leader responsible for building, leading, and evolving an enterprise‑wide cybersecurity program across North America. Works directly with the CIO and C‑suite to align security initiatives with business growth, ensuring regulatory compliance, risk mitigation, and a security‑first culture in a high‑growth, M&A‑intensive environment. **Expectations** - Own vision and execution of the company’s cyber risk strategy. - Influence and be visible at the C‑suite level. - Partner with business leaders to enable secure innovation during rapid expansion. **Key Responsibilities** - Define and implement a cybersecurity strategy based on NIST CSF 2.0 and CIS Controls. - Lead incident response, investigations, and threat mitigation. - Oversee SOC/MDR operations, vulnerability management, and disaster recovery/business continuity readiness. - Govern third‑party risk, security tooling, and architecture standards. - Ensure compliance with PCI, CJIS, CPRA/CCPA/CPA and other applicable regulations. - Champion security culture across IT and business units. - Deliver measurable improvements in cyber risk posture. **Required Skills** - 8+ years of progressive information security leadership. - Proven ability to build security programs in regulated or M&A‑intensive settings. - Deep knowledge of governance, risk, compliance, and cloud security. - Strong communication, business‑alignment, and change‑leadership skills. - Proficiency with tools such as Rapid7, SentinelOne, Checkpoint, DLP/SASE/CASB/PAM, and cloud security platforms. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in information security, computer science, or related field (preferred). - Certifications: CISSP and/or CISM highly preferred.
