**Job Title**
Program Manager
**Role Summary**
Lead and oversee the full lifecycle of multiple electrical utility projects, from initiation through closure, ensuring alignment with customer scope, schedule, budget, and regulatory requirements. Serve as the primary liaison between internal teams, clients, and stakeholders to deliver projects on time and within scope.
**Expectations**
- Own all 8 Gates of the project life cycle (IPSEC).
- Coordinate cross‑functional communication, manage risks, and mitigate schedule or budget variances.
- Maintain continuous, proactive status reporting to both internal and external stakeholders.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Define project scope, deliverables, and timelines; develop feasible engineering studies and work order plans.
- Review, approve, and monitor customer submittals; ensure design compliance with schedule.
- Remove roadblocks, assess risks, and keep projects on track, proactively forecasting workload impacts.
- Track financial performance; provide cost forecasts, justifications for variances, and year‑over‑year reports.
- Reconcile actual work orders with client and customer finances.
- Apply client policies, standards, and regulatory requirements to all assigned project types.
- Implement solutions for complex and dynamic project issues, creating win‑win outcomes.
- Coordinate site meetings (pre‑construction, trenching, kick‑off, inspections) and construction scheduling via D‑Ops/C‑Ops.
- Track and report project status, health, completion dates, and forecast updates to stakeholders.
- Mentor, train, and develop department staff.
**Required Skills**
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams) and data manipulation/visualization (PowerBI, formulas).
- Strong analytical ability to translate technical data into clear, non‑technical communications.
- Project management methodology experience and familiarity with 8‑gate or IPSEC processes.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- High School Diploma or equivalent (minimum).
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, STEM, or related field preferred; advanced degree considered.
- Minimum seven years of combined experience, including at least five years of project management and two years of electrical utility service planning/design.
- Certifications such as PMP, CAPM, or equivalent are advantageous.
